We’ve spent the last day or so in Iringa learning from the companion synod relationship that the St. Paul Area Synod has in Tanzania. The information learned has been invaluable. Tomorrow morning we will leave early to make the 8-10 hour trip from Iringa to Dar es Salaam. We’ll leave Dar around midnight Monday, fly 9 hours to Amsterdam, have a layover for a couple of hours, and then fly 9 hours to MSP. We’re about 48 hours away from returning home.
