July 30 was a day filled with highway miles through Des Moines to Omaha to -finally- North Platte, NE. We enjoyed the sunny, 85 degree day through van windows. Many naps were taken. More laughter was heard. God’s gracious hand safely delivered us to Messiah Lutheran Church on West A Street in North Platte. Our gracious hosts gave us fresh popcorn & pop to enjoy during devotion time. And, more importantly, they gave us air conditioned rooms to sleep in. Our first day is complete and we are reminded -again- that God is good.
