“We love because God first loved us.” The Zumbro HS trip comes to an end.

Day 2 of the Adventure, on our Mission Adventure trip, continued yesterday, August 6, with hiking and many pictures at Red Rock Park & Ampitheatre in Morrison, CO. Then, we travelled back to our host church, Messiah Lutheran Church, in North Platte, NE.

But, before we could do devotions and go to bed, we had a little adventure – closer to the ground- at Cody’s Go Carts in North Platte. By the faces in these pictures, we had a blast!!

Today, August 7, our trip is on the move towards home. Please pray for our safe travels. Please pray that the stories and memories from this trip are shared and cherished for years to come.

As this last trip blog finishes, a huge THANK YOU goes out to the phenomenal adult leader team of Jenni Horman, Jeff Leland, Bob & Sue Jenkins. Besides their amazing driving skills, it was a blessing to work & minister alongside them on this trip. Their patience, love, flexibility, faith & encouragement touched the lives of these kids forever! And so, we are able to love: Able to love God. Able to love others. We love because God first loved us.  –Kris Oppegard
