The Good Life

The Youth Works crew made it’s way safely to the Lake Traverse Reservation and Sisseton, SD last night. We traveled with our new friends from St. Pius Catholic Church, from Rochester. We stopped at a park for lunch and soon it felt like the two churches were one happy group.

The theme for this week at Youth Works is The Good Life. At worship last night we were asked to think about what we think the Good Life is. Kids talked about spending time with family, jumping on trampolines, and being by water. By the end of the week, I would imagine they’ll add serving others and making new friends to the list of the Good Life. How would you define the Good Life?

Today we’re off to meet kids in the community during Kids Club and doing some work at a home. We’ll take our Flat Jesus with us to watch over all the work we’ll do.Flat Jesus
